A warm welcome to you! We are a small independent organisation, UK based, that specialises in the development of commercial quality plug-ins and RCP applications which leverage the Eclipse™ platform and paradigm. We offer Eclipse related services for organisations that desire either to deliver tools, frameworks or applications on top of the Eclipse platform or to extend their current Eclipse solutions. We are now an Add-in Provider Member of the Eclipse Foundation. We are grateful to the Foundation for accepting us into the fold and we are looking forward to a long lasting and fruitful collaboration with both the Foundation and the Eclipse family at large. We have recently been at the Eclipse conference EclipseCon 2008 in Santa Clara, California, where we have received enormous expressions of interest and support for Useme™, our proposed open requirements management tool, which is Eclipse based, and its underlying framework, the Open Requirements Management Framework (ORMF), which is currently a public proposal at the Eclipse Management Organisation; see our blog about our experiences at EclipseCon and the inset below for further details on ORMF. Latest news: Useme and its underlying framework, the Open Requirements Management Framework (ORMF), recently accepted as a public proposal for an Eclipse project, is proposed to become a sub-project of the Open System Engineering Framework (OSEE), contributed to the Eclipse ecosystem by Boeing. Our hopes are that ORMF becomes the basis for best of breed tools in the realm of structured requirements capture and management sitting on top of an industrial strength environment (OSEE) that proposes to tackle the full life cycle management of a software project. To accomplish this we really need the participation of the community. Only by involving knowledgeable professionals and organisations can we hope to fulfil the vision of a free and available industrial quality Requirements Management facility. We eagerly invite comments, suggestions, ideas, words of support from any professional who has anything to say about the project, be they potential users, contributors or supporters. If you are one such person, please either contact us or, ideally, express your opinion in the project's Eclipse newsgroup eclipse.technology.ormf.
